Educational Bursary

The Maritime Provinces Water and Wastewater Association (MPWWA) will annually hand out two bursaries in the amount of $1000 each. We will award the bursaries to students who live in one of the four provinces we represent. Since the Maritime Provinces Water and Wastewater Association is a training provider, we want to provide financial help to those furthering their education.

Educational Bursary Application

The Maritime Provinces Water and Wastewater Association (MPWWA) will annually hand out two bursaries for $1000 each. These bursaries will be handed out to a student who resides in one of the four provinces we represent. Since the Maritime Provinces Water and Wastewater Association is a training provider, we want to provide financial assistance to those furthering their education.

Submission deadline: July 1, 2025

Winners will be announced August 4, 2025.

Please upload a short written essay (no longer than 1 page) indicating who you are, what you are planning on taking, and where you hope to see yourself working in the future. Please include any correlation your future work may have in the drinking water/wastewater industry or the everyday impacts this industry may have had in your life.

Educational Bursary Received

We appreciate your interest in our bursary program, a copy of the details provided where emailed to the address provided.

Selection will be based on the principle of open and equal opportunity and carried out by the Educational Bursary Committee. Their decision will be final. The Educational Bursary Committee will announce the award winners on August 2, 2024.
